My sparkling cranberry cocktail is a fun and easy cocktail that works just as well for brunch as it does alongside appetizers with friends. Quick, minimal ingredients, and so delicious!
This sparkling cranberry cocktail is one of our easiest cocktail recipes on the blog, but it’s also one of my go-to drinks when serving a crowd. You can think of it as a mimosa, but instead of using orange juice, you’ll use cranberry juice.
To make a perfect sparkling cocktail, add your juice to a champagne flute, then fill the glass with Champagne or sparkling wine. As you pour the wine into the glass, the drink mixes all by itself. Easy!
Key Ingredients
- Cranberry Juice: The most common option is “cranberry juice cocktail,” which adds some sugar. You can also find unsweetened cranberry juice, which is much more tart. Use what you love, but remember that if you use unsweetened juice, you may need to add a sweetener to the cocktail to balance it out. Other juices work here, too. Consider pomegranate juice, pear juice, cherry juice, or a cranberry juice blend.
- Sparkling Wine: I use chilled, dry sparkling wine for this cocktail. Choose wine you genuinely enjoy. You don’t need to break the bank (I spend $20 to $35). Use Champagne, Cava (from Spain), an American sparkling wine, or dry Prosecco (from Italy). We used brut Champagne in our video. Cava and Prosecco are usually the least expensive.
- Grand Marnier: This is optional, but its smooth orange flavor works nicely with the cranberry juice. Triple Sec is also a good option.

Sparkling Cranberry Cocktail
This simple cocktail is perfect for brunch or to serve with appetizers later in the day. To make this non-alcoholic, omit the orange liqueur and substitute the sparkling wine with a dry sparking soda or apple cider.
